FAQ
Quick answers.Quick Answers.
Everything you need to know about purchasing the Asuka Edition.
Is this officially licensed?
Yes. This is an officially licensed EVANGELION product authorized by Khara, Inc.
What makes the Rei edition different from the Asuka edition?
Beyond the character theme, the Rei edition is the Centauri 80 (vs. 60 for Asuka), which adds a full function row, arrow keys, and the exclusive 325 PPI OLED touchscreen. The knob is Cool Silver (vs. Rose Gold). The sound profile is tuned lower and deeper. The design language is restrained where Asuka’s is assertive.
What is Hall Effect and why does it matter?
Hall Effect keyboards use magnetic sensors instead of physical contacts. Nothing touches, nothing wears out. Actuation is measured in continuous analog space — enabling 0.01mm Rapid Trigger, which is mechanically impossible with traditional switches.
Does Rapid Trigger require software running in the background?
No. Configure once via MelGeek Hive (open a browser — no install required), and all settings save to onboard memory. The keyboard runs fully standalone.
Is this a limited edition? Will it restock?
Yes, limited run. No planned restock. Once stock depletes, it will not return.
Compatible with Mac and Linux?
Yes. Fully plug-and-play on Mac, Windows, and Linux. MelGeek Hive Web Driver works in any modern browser without installation — no OS restrictions.

I love this keyboard and I wanna get the blue one as well and these products are just sooo dam good
Looks and feels great.
Shipping was quick! I was hesitant to drop the amount for the keyboard but i kept looking at it non stop. Happy to say, it’s like nothing I’ve ever used. It’s a masterpiece. 10/10 Would wish they had an option for the bigger form factor but I’m still happy as can be.
Good Keyboard and mouse. It's a nice. Mousepad. Nothing more to say
It’s amazing
Love it ! Keyboard is is on another level . Mousepad is soo smooth ! Only thing this there is a little crease in the middle of the mousepad from being folded during shipping .s
This keyboard is amazing and it has such a good response time and such a cool design.
Amazing keyboard, really love it. I love the sound of the keyboard keys as well, very pleasing and not clicking sounds
This is peak performance!
The red colorway and German engineering vibe hit so hard. Worth every single penny!
Unboxing this gave me chills. The Unit-02 detailing on full aluminum is perfection.
アスカ推しなら絶対買い！フルアルミの質感と弐号機カラーが最高すぎる。
Absolute masterpiece! The red anodized aluminum case is pure Asuka energy.
This is my first Melgeek keyboard and far exceeded my expectations in terms of build quality, software for mapping keys (once you figure it out), and the feel itself for the magnetic keys compared to other mechanical keyboards
Nice keyboard! A good keyboard for anime fans!
Stunning keyboard and mousepad, the Centauri looks wonderful and works perfectly both for gaming and general typing. The mousepad feels very nice and the art is of very high quality.
Keyboard is amazing (It typed out this message!)
Great keyboard, I love it!
Great
I loved the box It's cute. I love the quality and design of the keyboard! Everything came as expected.
it was good
I have never seen a keyboard with such a beautiful design. The typing feel is also superb.
This is such a cool keyboard. I love all the details in this
I love my keyboard and mousepad but I’m so sad that I was not able to get the mouse…. I need it!
an excellent keyboard<3 the mouse pad is giant, its worth it!
Exceptional quality, though keys should be swappable.
Fast shipping, and I’m very satisfied with the typing sound after trying it myself.
The keyboard is amazing I have nothing to say about it 10/10 I recommend it if you’re a fan of Evangelion
I didn't know what I was missing by not using a quality keyboard. Ignoring the incredible attention to detail on the branding of my first anime favorite character, the feel of typing is amazing. It's my new daily driver. It's built durably so I don't have to worry about a stiff breeze breaking it. It is a bit heavy but that just means it doesn't walk away when I'm trying to type. Very worth the price because I will be using it for a very long time. Well done!
Beautiful keyboard, arrived quickly.
Overall great keyboard, super tactile and responsive. One minor gripe is the extra keycaps and driver on MacOS. I would love to be able to replace both Alts with Cmds. And then I can't change the little orange button to do anything useful through the official driver, so I had to write my own (now it's bound to Play/Pause).
works great, would have been cool if the asuka version was an 80% layout like the rei one. but besides that its awesome
Mhm when she puts off the suit is a very enticing smell
Un produit qu’une qualité rare et parfaitement réalisé pour la collab avec evangelion. C’est une pièce d’art.
Really well built. Looks great and typing feels really satisfying.
Quite possibly if not the best keyboard of all time I haven’t ever felt this good and been this good at the game
The keyboard is simply amazing. It´s like a dream make true. Now im crying... because i don´t have the matching mouse :P Great product. Amazing job ;)
Love the collab and the keyboard is a great upgrade from what I originally had.
