Can I set a different actuation point for each key on the MADE84 Ultra+?

The MADE84 Ultra+ uses one actuation setting, not separate per-key points. You adjust it anywhere from 0.1mm to 2.5mm in MelGeek Hive, and Adaptive Rapid Trigger calibrates to your style. A shallow point suits fast movement keys. A deeper point helps avoid accidental presses while typing.

Is Rapid Trigger or Snap Tap allowed in CS2 and Valorant tournaments?

Rapid Trigger is legal in both CS2 and Valorant. The MADE84 Ultra+ uses it to reset keys instantly. Since it only mirrors a key's real position, anti-cheat clears it. Snap Tap works differently. It automatically favors the most recent of two opposing keys. Valve banned it in CS2 in August 2024, while Valorant still allows it.

Can I swap the MADE84 Ultra+ magnetic switches for another brand?

Keep the MADE84 Ultra+ on its TTC Magnetic Switches. Each Hall Effect PCB is tuned to the magnet strength and orientation of its own switches. Cross-brand magnetic switches often break that tuning. The result is a shifted actuation point or dead keys. The matched TTC set keeps every press accurate.

Does the MADE84 Ultra+ keep its settings without software running?

Yes. The MADE84 Ultra+ stores key maps, actuation, Rapid Trigger, and macros on a built-in MCU with 1MB flash memory. Settings stay active after you close Hive or move to another computer. No background app needs to run during gaming for the saved profile to work.

Does the 8000Hz polling rate make a noticeable difference?

The 8,000Hz polling rate mainly helps in fast FPS games. The MADE84 Ultra+ sends key input every 0.125ms. That is eight times more often than a 1,000Hz board. Casual users rarely notice it, but it sharpens fast inputs in CS2, Valorant, or Apex. Switch type and actuation matter more.

Do the MADE84 Ultra+ magnetic switches need recalibration over time?

Adaptive Rapid Trigger auto-calibrates each switch, so daily use needs no manual step. Magnetic sensors can still drift slightly as the PCB warms up, which may shift actuation by small amounts. If keys feel off, Hive offers a manual recalibration. Letting the board warm for about 30 minutes first improves accuracy.
