They are PCB mounted, and feature gold-plated cross-points, and galvanized, gold-plated springs for extra strength and durability. To achieve a satisfying feel and sound, each switch is equipped with a metal tactile leaf. With a medium actuation force and an overall travel of 4 millimeters, the Ember Tactile custom mechanical switches add just the right amount of resistance to the typing experience.
